Writer Zakhar Prilepin spoke on his Telegram channel about his injuries, which he received during an attempt on himself in early May of this year.

“Three months ago, my spine was broken, my sternum and ribs were broken, I had a traumatic brain injury and a suspected brain tumor,” Prilepin wrote.

He also added that he had nine leg fractures, of which there were three open fractures, two blown heels, as well as many other minor injuries.

Recall that Prilepin on May 6, 2023, driving a car in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The car was blown up. 27-year-old Alexander Shubin was also in the vehicle, but he died on the spot, and the writer was taken to the hospital, where he ended up in intensive care.
