Pugacheva confessed to her friend why she couldn’t return to her homeland

However, it is not. Apparently, no dinner party was planned. In any case, the people closest to Pugacheva in life did not receive any invitations to it.

We contacted the Diva’s childhood and lifelong friend, the famous TV presenter Kira Proshutinskaya, who does not lose touch with Alla Borisovna, and learned some details.

“I didn’t receive any invitations from Alla to the anniversary and, frankly, I don’t know how the holiday went,” says Proshutinskaya. “But for the first time in many years, before April 15, almost none of my colleagues called me so that I could say some congratulatory words in honor of Alla’s birth. For the first time, when I opened the Internet, I almost didn’t read the publications and interviews that I had become accustomed to during her half-century of fame. For the first time, television broadcasts were not crowded with films and concerts with Pugacheva’s participation.

– Isn’t this restraint a well-deserved reaction from Pugacheva to everything she has managed to say lately?

– I don’t know, I’m not a judge. But with us everything is always excessive – both love and disappointment. “I fell in love with you, which means create yourself every minute of your life in my image and likeness” – this quote is from the book by F.I. Chaliapin “The Mask and the Soul”, written in 1932. He wrote with resentment and tragic sadness about himself in his beloved, but alien Paris, rejected by his homeland, by the people who had recently idolized him. Is it deserved?

How can we learn not to offend each other? How not to become bitter when listening to someone else’s opinion, which does not always coincide with yours? How can we ensure that disputes in the country, as well as in the family, do not lead to divorces and organizational withdrawals? How to learn to distinguish true patriotism from profit?

– You know Pugacheva like no one else, why is she so unlucky in her personal life, each subsequent life partner at first seems like a safe haven, and then creates even more problems than the previous one?

– Alla’s life is not the subject of drama, because so many collisions, events, triumphs, falls, betrayals, and love are difficult to fit into the Procrustean bed of one script. And if you put it down, the author will be accused of being too imaginative: that doesn’t happen! It turns out that it happens: Pugacheva’s fate is built according to some laws unknown to us, and she adapts it to herself. Accepting or resisting, acting as a consequence or in spite of.

– Why did she leave? She couldn’t help but understand that her significance was inextricably linked only with Russia?

– Her departure is not a challenge, not a position, but a desire to save the family. She sadly told me: “I am where my family is.” That is, husband and children.

– Let’s be honest, is it hard for her in a foreign land?

– These last years have been difficult for Alla. Perhaps the most difficult ones in many years of life. But she will never say this, because she is a closed person who now trusts few people. And very proud. And only from the lyrics of the songs we can understand what is in her soul now. Listen to her last two songs, where the refrain sounds like a spell, like a prayer: “Don’t worry about me” and “Take care of yourself!” Who are they dedicated to, why did they appear, as some kind of summary? Don’t know. But I can guess.

– And to whom?

– Maybe Maxim. And what powerful words of these last songs! How young she is at her new stage of creativity! As you know, both joy and pain have always become an incentive for creative people. And how different is what she is doing now from the proliferating meaningless “stars” of our time.

– Do you think their relationship with Maxim Galkin (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) has not changed? Can he today provide Pugacheva with what he once promised in response to her question – the opportunity to “grow old in peace”?

“I think it’s not easy for her in a foreign country, in a strange house, without her loved ones, with problematic health, with her sacrifice for her family… We have known each other for more than 60 years, since school, almost an eternity. And I know how at our age we want the usual stability within our own walls…

– Why did Pugacheva start making provocative statements before her anniversary? Is this not the influence of the husband?

“She was silent for a long time. And only recently I couldn’t stand it, several times I was careless in my words… But when there are incessant accusations, even the strongest person can break down.

She always sang only about love, which, in my opinion, she knows everything about. But, most importantly, Alla gives it completely to the one she loves, sacrificing everything. This is not pathos, but the truth of her life. And her freedom, which she elevates to an absolute, in this case becomes voluntary lack of freedom and dependence.

– So you think that Pugacheva is still not free from the influence of her husband, even if this is not freedom chosen by her?

– I’m not sure if I’m right, but it seems to me that only on stage is she absolutely free. But in life, this is not the essence of it: simply a sense of self-worth, fear of betraying oneself in some way, forces her to act as a free person should act.

– Free people do not act to the detriment of themselves, and in some ways to the detriment of the Motherland.

– Pugacheva has never been and will never be an enemy of her Motherland, which gave her so much and to which she devoted herself with gratitude for so many years!

– How do you personally see the further development of events? After all, Pugacheva doesn’t have many options – either return, or… well, yes, die in a foreign land, forgotten by everyone.

“I think we should just leave her alone.” “They don’t renounce, loving,” as she once sang! She will be back. And he will sing again. Encore.
