Yulia Menshova said that Ekaterina Andreeva is older than her “official age”

Actress Yulia Menshova provoked a scandal in social networks with her careless compliment to TV presenter Ekaterina Andreeva.

In her telegram channel, Menshova published a post about the 60th anniversary of the French actress of the Philippines Leroy-Beaulieu, accompanied by her fresh photos. The star of the French screen appeared on the frames in a mini-dress, on stilettos, smiled at the audience with a snow-white smile and struck a slender figure.

“Wow. Cool,” Menshova commented on the appearance of the actress. “However, we have our own role model. Katya Andreeva. She is 61 years old, for a second.”

Menshova’s post turned out to be hype, since Andreeva’s official age is 57 years old. The TV presenter herself in an interview stated that she was born in Moscow on November 27, 1965.

“It suddenly came to me that I discovered a big secret, they say,” Menshova soon wrote.

She tried to justify herself: she took information about Andreeva’s age from open sources, “googled it”, and apologized if the information turned out to be false.

“But this does not change the essence of the matter, by the way,” concluded 53-year-old Menshova. “At 57 or 61, in any case, I admire Katya Andreeva.”

Ekaterina Andreeva came to work on television in 1998, at the age, as follows from her own words, 33 years old. For a quarter of a century, she has remained a permanent news anchor and regularly receives compliments from viewers for her ability to maintain a good appearance. Andreeva has repeatedly shared her beauty secrets in interviews and personal blogs. The ways to maintain physical fitness for her are cosmetic procedures, proper nutrition, sports activities and meditative practices. In particular, she resorted to the latter after the broadcast in March 2022, when editor Marina Ovsyannikova appeared in the studio with a poster condemning the Russian special operation. Andreeva in front of the camera pretended not to notice anything, she managed to continue reading the text. That same evening, she posted a video of herself during a yoga class, demonstrating how she stays calm.

Andreeva also tries to maintain a good mood by traveling to beautiful places and is happy to tell her fans about it. In 2022, she managed to go on an expedition to Siberia, to Krasnaya Polyana in Sochi, Thailand, the Maldives, India, Turkey, Antarctica. Now, judging by the photo on the social network, Andreeva is resting again in the Maldives.
