YouTube has released a major update with new features – Kommersant

YouTube video service introduced platform update, in which new features became available to users, including the ability to set a stable volume. The service has also updated its design with new animations.

Thanks to “stable volume”, it will be possible to level out the sound in the video, the function will be turned on automatically, and you can disable it in the video settings under the “backlight” item. To make the video scroll twice as fast, you need to hold your finger or mouse button on the video screen. Once you reach the desired point in the video, just release your finger or button and playback will continue as normal.

In the preview, the image of the video strip is enlarged, making it easier to find the desired moment in the video. The library and profile settings are now combined into one section “You” – on this tab, videos you have watched and liked, playlists and purchases are available. The service has also launched a new feature, thanks to which users will be able to find any musical composition on the platform simply by singing it.
