iOS update fixes bug with screen burn-in on iPhone 15 – Kommersant

American corporation Apple released the next update of the iOS 17.1 operating system, in which the company has problems with burn-in of iPhone 15 screens. Previously, users complained that after work, fingerprints of already minimized images remained on the screens of smartphones.
The feature is currently available in beta, but some Reddit users have already tried it and reported that the problem is indeed being resolved. Previously it was assumed that the problem could be hardware related to the OLED screens used in the iPhone. OLED screens are prone to burn-in, but to do so they must operate continuously for a very long time at high brightness, while the iPhone burned out almost immediately.
This is not the first software problem associated with new iPhones: some time ago Apple released iOS 17.0.3 update, which fixed the overheating problem on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Previously, users started complaining en masse that their new iPhone 15 was getting very hot, and sometimes the devices turned off due to overheating.
