American company Adobe going add a new Firefly family of generative artificial intelligence model to the Premier Pro video editing application: it will allow you to remove and add objects, as well as generate entire frames. Firefly integration with Premier Pro is expected in 2024.

The AI model will be controlled using text prompts similar to the Generative Fill tool in Photoshop: it will be possible to generate videos and increase the length of clips. Adobe is considering the possibility of integrating other AI tools: from Pika Labs, Runway, and Sora from OpenAI. It will be possible to add special tags to the generated videos, by which it will be possible to determine which AI model was used in their creation.

Previously Adobe announced Project Music GenAI Control AI tool, which is capable of both generating audio based on a text request and editing existing tracks. Also the company launched a beta version of its AI tool for viewing and creating PDF files, Acrobat, which the company believes will make working with digital documents easier.
