“You understand that you live in the 21st century”: a pensioner told how the aftergasification program helped her return to the family nest

In Lipetsk, the program of additional gasification of residential households is in full swing. Residents of settlements, towns and villages are actively applying for state support for connecting their homes to gas.

A resident of the Lipetsk region, 67-year-old Galina Alekseevna Karpova, also became a participant in the program. Gas in her house, which is located in the village of Zasosenka, Krasninsky district, appeared in 2022.

“This is my parents’ house. I was born in this house, grew up in it and spent a lot of time in my childhood and youth. Then she left for Moscow and lived there all her adult life, and her parents stayed here, in this house. I used to come here as a dacha, to visit, to visit my parents, neighbors, friends who stayed here. When the time came and I retired, I began to live here for six months. And I needed gas because I live here from early spring to late autumn. It is still cold here at this time, and heating with electricity is very expensive, but the gas under the after-gasification program suited me, and I decided to install gas. Very satisfied!” – the pensioner told the MK journalist.

Galina Alekseevna also added that her sister played an important role in the fact that she decided to apply for connecting her house to gas.

“My cousin lives here. Lives here all his life. She has been with gas for 30 years, because she is a permanent resident. And every year she told me: “We need to carry out gas!” But there was no gas on my street. And then, according to this program, gas was installed along the street. There were a lot of people who wanted to join him, including me. That’s how it happened. If gas had been installed along the street earlier, maybe I would have installed it earlier. It was very, very expensive to carry gas from another street without this program. An opportunity arose, and I turned to the district gas station of the Krasninsky district. There, very attentive and sympathetic girls work in the planning and production department. And they themselves took up everything, gave recommendations on the gas project, and so on. And so the process went on until the gas was connected. In my house, in general, there was a gas opening along our street. The entire Lipetskregiongaz company and correspondents came. At the base of my house, because they connected the gas to me first on the street, they opened the gas along the street, ”Galina Alekseevna joyfully shared her impressions.

She noted that very little time has passed since the submission of documents for inclusion in the program.

“I don’t remember the exact date, but somewhere in March I took all the documentation to the house and to the land plot, wrote a statement. Then gas was carried along the street (street – 2 km), and then they began to make tie-ins under the houses. Everything was done very promptly. Didn’t really go anywhere. Everything was taken under control and everything was done by the girls from the gas station, since all the documents for the land and the house had already been prepared for me. I brought them to them. There were no problems. I got a project. They were only waiting for the gas to be laid along the street,” the pensioner added.

Since that moment, not only Galina Alekseevna is satisfied with how the program works, but also all the inhabitants of the Zasosenka village. They don’t have any problems with gas. Everyone says: “Everything is fine. Very pleased. Everyone who could join joined. Probably, only people who, perhaps, have problems with documents on the ownership of residential buildings and land plots, did not connect. But people are still joining. Two more citizens took the documents to the district gas station. Apparently, during this time they made the necessary documents.

She calls the appearance of gas in her house a holiday: “You understand that you live in the 21st century. Such amenities are just everything: warmth, hot water. These are living conditions at the city level. Holiday! It’s just called a holiday when there is gas in the house!

The pensioner also appreciated the work of the gas workers at a high level: “Gratitude here can also be expressed on behalf of all residents to the director of our gas station. You go into his office and he gives advice – he is easy to communicate with. Every day he went to the place of work, although it is 25 km from his workplace. Crews worked full time. No complaints at all! We boiled tea for them and treated them. Because people, roughly speaking, plowed.
