In July, rumors appeared on the Web that Yefim Shifrin allegedly emigrated from Russia to Israel. In response, the 66-year-old artist made fun of this kind of reasoning on social networks. “Lapuski,” said Shifrin, quoting the word “spotted” from a post in the show business news public, where it was reported that the humorist allegedly went abroad. Shifrin was amused by the use by journalists of the feminine verb in relation to a man. He also ridiculed the desire to write him down as an emigrant.
It was noted that Efim Zalmanovich is visiting Israel with his brother, who lives in this country. He also recalled that he would open a new theater season very soon – on August 12, in Moscow.
