Yamal gas workers won the charity volleyball tournament for the Governor’s Cup

The winners of the Arctic charity volleyball tournament for the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Cup were determined in Novy Urengoy. The first place was taken by the team of the Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy company, the head of the gas capital, Andrei Voronov, announced on the evening of April 4.

“Last year they promised to break the record for the number of teams. Done. This time there were 35 of them. For the first time this year, the Friendship Tournament was held as part of the Arctic Charity Tournament. The Volnovakha national team took part in it. We will send the collected funds from contributions from participating teams and ticket sales to the regional charity foundation “Yamine” for the treatment of seriously ill Yamal children,” Voronov announced.

In the final of the tournament, the team of the Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy company beat the team of Noyabrsk with a score of 2:0, November did not take second place. Third place goes to the Novy Urengoy branch of the United Russia party: in the fight for bronze, United Russia beat the Labytnangi team with a score of 0:2.
