According to the head of the DPR Ministry of Sports, Yuri Martynov, Donetsk athletes won 13 medals at the Russian Jiu-Jitsu Championship. The competition took place from April 13 to 16 at the Temp sports complex in Barnaul. Boys and girls aged 12-13 years old, as well as men and women aged 18 years and older, juniors and junior women aged 16-17 years old and boys and girls aged 14-15 years old fought for the victory.
According to the results of the competition, the Donetsk team won 4 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals. In addition, athletes from the DPR took third place in the team event.
The winners of the tournament will go to the World Cup, which will take place in Greece at the end of October.
