Xiaomi during the global premiere of new products introduced Watch S2 smartwatch and Buds 4 wireless headphones.
The watch is available in two versions – with a 42 mm case and a 1.32-inch screen and with a 46 mm case and a 1.43-inch screen, but in both versions the display has a resolution of 466×466, the case is made of steel, and the screen is protected by sapphire glass. For control, there are two physical buttons that complement the touchscreen. Support for more than a hundred types of sports training is declared, as well as a function for monitoring heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, sleep quality, and others.
Xiaomi Watch S2 is equipped with an NFC module and a GPS sensor, and a built-in microphone and speakers allow you to use the accessory for talking on the phone. The 305 mAh battery provides the 42 mm version with up to a week of operation without recharging, and the 46 mm version has an autonomy of up to 12 days due to the 500 mAh battery.
Headphones, made in the format of earbuds, received two speakers each, support for spatial sound and high-resolution audio. An active noise reduction system using three built-in microphones is announced. The 480 mAh battery provides up to six hours of work without recharging, and the charging case increases the autonomy of Xiaomi Buds 4 up to 30 hours.
The cost of the new Xiaomi Watch S2 in China will be from $143, and the Xiaomi Buds 4 headphones will cost $100. Sales of accessories will begin in December.
