“We have never been in better conditions to end a pandemic. We have not reached this yet, but completion is in sight, ”said the head of WHO at a briefing in Geneva (quoted by TASS).
According to WHO, the number of cases of coronavirus has decreased by 28% over the past week and amounted to 3,130,975 people. A significant decrease in the incidence rate is observed in the Western Pacific region (36%), Africa (33%) and America (27%). Mortality decreased significantly in Europe (31%), Southeast Asia (25%) and America (22%). According to the operational headquarters, 8,610 cases of infection were registered in Moscow over the past day, which is 74.08 more than the day before, September 13.
