The head of the Federal Tax Service (FTS), Daniil Yegorov, said that the department has different lists, including bloggers. So he answered the question about the existence of a list of bloggers who are planned to be checked for tax evasion.
“We have a list of bloggers, and we just don’t have any lists. And there are lists of restaurateurs too. And banking. And there are lists of all legal entities,” Mr. Yegorov told reporters (quoted by TASS).
Since the beginning of spring against three Russian bloggers: Valeria Chekalina, Alexandra Mitroshina And Elena Blinovskaya — filed criminal cases on charges of tax evasion and money laundering. In May, the FTS initiated check against blogger Anastasia Ivleeva.
In early May, Vedomosti wrotethat the Federal Tax Service checks the income of bloggers-infobusinessmen who have a large audience in social networks. Senators also suggested the government to consider introducing taxation on income on the Internet, including from blogging activities.
