All houses in Crimea that were flooded due to the storm have been cleared of water, the head of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sergei Aksenov, told reporters.
“There is no water in residential buildings anymore. In Pribrezhny (Saksky district of the peninsula), water is drained from flooded courtyards through a dug canal,” Aksenov noted.
He later wrote in his Telegram channelthat to date, 386 thousand applications for compensation payments have been received from citizens whose property was damaged as a result of the disaster. Moreover, 120 thousand of them have already been worked out.
Let us remind youearlier the Crimean authorities stated that the damage from the hurricane that raged on the peninsula on November 26 was about 40 billion rubles.
