In the Central, Northwestern and Volga Federal Districts, the water level rises by 60–230 cm per day. Water reaches dangerous levels on rivers in the Ivanovo, Moscow, Yaroslavl, Samara, Penza, Saratov, Tula, Orenburg and Tver regions, as well as in Bashkortostan and Mordovia.

Dangerous levels have been exceeded on rivers in the Altai Territory, Novosibirsk, Kurgan, and Kemerovo regions. From Saturday, dangerous levels are expected to be reached on the Uvera River in the Novgorod Region, on the Protva River in the Kaluga Region and on the Sudogda River in the Vladimir Region. The hydrometeorological center predicts that flooding in the Orenburg region will continue. A strong increase in water levels is expected in the Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk regions.
