A security guard for a real estate company who stabbed a client to death in the office was caught after 19 years.

The court gave him a harsh sentence

The Presnensky Court of Moscow sentenced a security guard of a real estate company who stabbed a visitor to death right in the office. The brutal crime was committed 19 years ago and remained unsolved for a long time, since the villain managed to change his passport.

As MK learned, an absurd tragedy occurred on March 19, 2005 in the office of a brokerage firm on Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street. A few days before, a young man, a native of one of the North Caucasus republics, came here to look for options for renting an apartment.

The guy took a friend with him, fearing that he would be scammed. In fact, the theme of deception sounded like a refrain throughout all negotiations with the office employee. The incredulous client, with his harshness, even then attracted the attention of the security guard, a certain Zaurbek Rasulov (name and surname have been changed). The chill between the interlocutors intensified when the realtor asked for a deposit in exchange for the addresses of the apartments. Nevertheless, the friends paid an advance and went to look at the property, warning that they would return for money if they did not like the options.

The worst expectations were realized: at some addresses no one opened the door for tenants, in some places they were turned away from the gate. And agency employees stopped communicating altogether. Feeling deceived, the client took as many as three friends with him and again came to Bolshaya Nikitskaya. The company burst into the office and began demanding the advance back.

A scandal broke out, during which the security guard Rasulov suddenly took out a knife and hit one of the visitors, the strongest and tallest (the guy was actively involved in sports). The wounded man sank to the floor, and Rasulov ran away. The victim died in hospital that evening.

The search for Rasulov took a lot of time: he made a fake passport and lived in Chechnya all this time. Only modern technologies made it possible to expose the killer when, at the age of 45, Zaurbek was forced to go to the passport office to exchange a document. He was detained at the airport when Rasulov flew to Moscow on business. Despite the fact that the man did not admit guilt, he was sentenced to 11 years and 2 months in a maximum security colony.
