City enterprises will be able to send their engineers to courses on artificial intelligence in industry. Education in 6 new areas is opened by the Moscow Technical School (MTS) and Skoltech.

“70 partners have already joined the ITS project. This year, a new training program for engineers is opening – “Artificial Intelligence in Industry”. Technologies in this direction do not stand still, and in order to transfer the most relevant knowledge and practices to the capital’s engineers, a new partner, the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, was invited to the project. Its employees have developed 6 programs, including serial data modeling and machine learning,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

The direction “Machine learning” is suitable for specialists involved in the automation and digitalization of production processes. Two courses are aimed at developing domestic solutions based on applied AI for the implementation of sustainable development projects. The remaining programs will be devoted to modeling data and events in Python.

Evgeny Burnaev, head of the AI research center at Skoltech, said that the courses will allow students to develop new competencies necessary for professional work in the field of AI. Based on the results of certification, ITS students will receive a certificate of advanced training.
