Preparations have started in Moscow for the youth military-patriotic forum Znanie.Heroi, which will be held under the motto “Valor and courage in the name of Russia.” The event will be organized by the Russian society “Knowledge”. And the forum itself will be held in the capital on April 18.
Participants of the action – schoolchildren and students will meet with those whose life and work is dedicated to the defense of the Fatherland. The children will find out what exactly motivates the heroes of our country to serve their Motherland and people, get acquainted with the details of the work of rescuers and doctors, and talk about why it is important to preserve the heritage of the past.
As Maxim Dreval, General Director of the Russian Society “Knowledge” said, at all times in Russia there were people who glorified the country.
– The example of these people can inspire new achievements. Therefore, we consider it important to tell young people that Russia is a country of winners, so that they feel ownership of the outstanding achievements of their ancestors and contemporaries, – said the head of the Knowledge society. – As part of the thematic project Knowledge.Heroes, we organize exhibitions about the Heroes of Russia, launched regional forums where we acquaint the younger generations with the true facts of the country’s history, with people who have shown devotion to their people, have become symbols of national pride.
In Moscow, the participants of the forum will meet Vladimir Legoshin – a rescuer who participated in the aftermath of 17 earthquakes, a Hero of the Russian Federation, who was at the origins of the creation of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and the birth of the profession of a rescuer in our country. Also among the speakers will be: MGIMO Vice-Rector for Research, Professor Alexei Podberezkin, poet Vlad Malenko and other famous people, with whom the guys will figure out who a hero is and what is considered a feat, what role heroes play in the history of the country, what inspires them for such a difficult and noble work.
