A resident of the Rostov region was partially paralyzed after a mistake by doctors, which was made during childbirth, writes Baza in his telegram channel.
According to the publication, the woman was admitted to the Bataysk central hospital three years ago. After giving birth, during which the doctors of the maternity ward gave the Russian woman epidural anesthesia, she began to experience migraines, pain in her spine and weakness in her lower extremities.
A month and a half later, the woman’s lower body refused – she spent the next six months in bed, the authors of the publication shared the details. It turned out that the cause of the paralysis was improperly administered anesthesia, due to which inflammatory processes developed in the body of the victim, which affected part of the spinal cord.
Litigation with the hospital lasted three years. As a result, the Russian woman was able to sue half a million rubles from a medical institution. The woman managed to restore her health only partially – now she continues to undergo a course of rehabilitation.
