Almost two years have passed since the death of the legendary actress Nina Urgant. Nina Nikolaevna found her last refuge at the Komarovskoye cemetery in St. Petersburg. According to existing popular traditions, a monument is erected on the grave of a deceased person a year after death. But there is still no monument. The reason for the delay was told to MK by the son of the actress Andrei Urgant.
According to him, the star family is now engaged in the manufacture and installation of the monument.
“Now everything is in progress: we have chosen the design of the monument, the stone from which it will be made,” says Andrey Lvovich. – We met with the cemetery management and the sculptor. Now we need to decide on the spot how this stone can be delivered there. I can’t say its exact name – I forgot. It is southern and very beautiful. And the composition will include an even larger granite slab.
Andrei Lvovich cannot yet give an exact date for the installation of the monument. He says that everything will depend on weather conditions.
“It’s still a monument, I wouldn’t want to make a blunder,” Urgant continues. “If everything is prepared before the snow falls, then we’ll install it this year.” If not, then probably already in the spring. There is a problem – how to transport the monument. The cemetery is very crowded. We’ll probably have to call the taps. But we will discuss this issue with the cemetery management. They understand this better.
According to Andrei Urgant, his mother is constantly remembered in their family.
“I never forget about her,” Urgant said.
