Ukrainian haters attacked the pages of “Miss Russia” Anna Linnikkova in social networks after the events in Dnepropetrovsk. On Saturday, a missile shot down by air defense systems over the city fell on the entrance of a residential building and detonated. According to the latest data, 14 people were killed and more than 60 people were injured.
Most of all the anger was caused by the photo of “Miss Russia” in an evening dress of bright red color. The softest comment to the picture is “blood-colored dress”. The post with this photo in a few hours has collected more than 20,000 comments.
Anna Linnikova did not make it to the top 16 in the Miss Universe pageant. Girls from 86 countries took part in it. Also, the representative of Ukraine Victoria Apanasenko could not reach the semi-finals. Previously, “Miss Ukraine” made a scene at the traditional photo session of the contest. She refused to stand next to the Russian woman and even kept one of the participants by force so as not to get close to Linnikova.
Miss Ukraine became one of the few contestants who used military motives in preparation for the Miss Universe. She entered the performance ceremony with a sword, and pretentiously called her costume “Warrior of Light”.
