Ufa will host a fight between Jeffrey Monson and Evgeny Dolgarev

Ufa is looking forward to a spectacular fight between two-time winner of the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship, ten-time world champion in grappling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu Jeffrey Monson and professional MMA fighter Evgeny Dolgarev.
The fight between the two titans will complete the first open wrestling tournament “UWW Grappling” for the BAGSU Cup under the head of Bashkiria. The competitions themselves will be held at the Dynamo stadium on September 29 and 30. The strongest in the individual competition will be determined in eight weight categories from 62 to 130 kilograms.
Jeffrey Monson moved to Ufa last January. He was invited here by an old friend, the head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov. His school of jiu-jitsu and grappling operates in the capital of the republic. Monson plans to open several more free sports facilities in Bashkiria, and then throughout Russia. In June of this year, he was elected vice president of the wrestling federation of Bashkiria.
Evgeny Dolgarev is a master of sports of Russia in hand-to-hand combat, a multiple winner of the Russian championship in army hand-to-hand combat and universal combat, a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
