More than 2000 Ulan-Ude residents participated in the “Cross of Nations”

In Ulan-Ude, more than 2,000 people joined the All-Russian Day of Running at the “Cross of Nations” (0+). The competitions were held on the football field on Verkhnyaya Berezovka.
Traditionally, students of universities and colleges of Buryatia, schoolchildren and representatives of sports federations, as well as labor collectives and representatives of the older generation took part in the races.
There are no gender or age restrictions here. Both professionals and amateurs participate, – Oleg Ekimovsky noted for the first deputy mayor.
Fans of sports and a healthy lifestyle could choose one of five distances: 0.5, 1, 2, 4 and 6 km. All registrants were given branded souvenirs, and the winners received valuable prizes, the press service of the Ulan-Ude administration reports.
