Russian mixed style (MMA) fighter Arman Tsarukyan won a fight with Brazilian Charles Oliveira at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight tournament. The main card fight ended with Tsarukyan winning by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28). UFC 300 takes place in Las Vegas.
27-year-old Arman Tsarukyan now has 22 victories and three defeats in 25 MMA fights. Charles Oliveira, 34, a former UFC lightweight champion (deprived belt in May 2022 due to a failed weigh-in), 34 wins, 10 losses, one more fight was declared invalid.
UFC President Dana White previously said that the winner of this fight will have a title fight with the current lightweight champion, Russian Islam Makhachev. After the fight, Makhachev himself said that he was ready to meet with Arman Tsarukyan.
