The verdict of the Preobrazhensky Court of Moscow against lawyer from Karachay-Cherkessia Marina Dzhantemirova came into force. She “became famous” in December 2022 – she managed to smuggle 4 mobile phones into the pre-trial detention center in her vagina. It is interesting that this particular fact went unnoticed by the investigators. But in addition to mobile phones, Dzhantemirova also carried psychotropic substances to the pre-trial detention center, for which she received a prison sentence.
As previously reported by MK, the lawyer was detained on December 14 in the Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention center. She was on her way to see her client, but during the inspection she came under the close attention of FSIN officers. The operatives had information that the woman would try to deliver prohibited items to the prisoner. During a thorough search, a deck of cards was found in Dzhantemirova’s bag, and “tropicamide” eye drops (two bottles) and 100 tablets of the potent psychotropic drug “methandienone” were found in her bra. However, it was not these items that caused a stir among the pre-trial detention center employees. The lady already voluntarily removed 4(!) mobile phones from her rectum. The push-button telephones were packaged in condoms. She honestly admitted that she was going to give the gadgets to the prisoners. Regarding the drugs, Dzhantemirova gave her version. Allegedly, the pills belong to her common-law husband, an athlete, and she always wears eye drops on her chest because “it’s more convenient.”
It turned out that Dzhantemirova had a relapse – she had previously tried to smuggle a deck of cards into the Vodnik pre-trial detention center, for which she was brought to administrative responsibility. This time the lawyer was tried under a criminal article – “attempted sale of potent substances.” The court sentenced her to 2 years of forced labor with the withholding of 10% of her salary to the state.
