“There are two reasons”: director Sokolova explained why Galkin demands to remove the status of a foreign agent

Russian artists who fled the country a year ago are massively demanding that they be removed from their status as foreign agents. Maxim Galkin, Semyon Slepakov (both recognized as foreign agents in the Russian Federation) and others have already filed relevant lawsuits in court. In the DPR and LPR they understand that the actions of the artists are not accidental. The well-known director Vera Sokolova, who makes films about what is happening in the Donbass, named two unexpected reasons why disgraced celebrities do not want to be foreign agents.

“I would like to think that Galkin, Slepakov and other escaped celebrities, who demand to remove their status as foreign agents, realized in a foreign land that the smoke of the Fatherland is sweet and pleasant for them,” says Vera Sokolova. – I would like to believe that they have realized everything, and will soon publicly repent that they did not support the goals and objectives of the NMD to protect the inhabitants of Donbass. But, it seems to me that the reason for their massive desire to remove themselves from the status of foreign agents lies elsewhere.

– What exactly?

– Maxim Galkin, as a successful businessman, always keeps his nose to the wind. He certainly knows that the State Duma is beginning to develop a bill prohibiting foreign agents from receiving income in our country. It is absolutely logical: if you act for the benefit of the enemies of our country, then do not receive income here. Earn in any other country, but not in Russia.

I believe that Maxim is going to return home in the near future and continue, as if nothing had happened, his artistic activities. Most likely, Galkin, Slepakov and others demand that they remove the status of foreign agents so that in the future there will be no problems with working on the territory of Russia. Not only I think so, but also many residents of Donbass.

– Maybe the events on the battlefield made them change their minds about the status of a foreign agent?

– Yes. Now it becomes completely clear that, despite the unprecedented persecution from the West, we are not giving up, we are winning and will soon win completely. This becomes obvious, including to the rabid West, which hates us. Galkin is a smart, far-sighted person. He cannot understand this. Both he and Slepakov will have to admit that Russia is the winner.

And those artists who ran away, slamming the door, will be in the minority. As soon as the situation changes, they will not be able to earn the money they are used to, – Vera continues. – Look what’s going on. Everywhere people demand the cancellation of the concerts of those performers who speak negatively about our army, the state, the actions of the military during the NWO. Galkin understands all this.

“But the law is the law,” Sokolova says. “Our court is the most humane and fair in the world. He will make the right decision both with respect to Galkin and Slepakov … But there is an easier way. We must repent, admit that we were wrong, go to the Donbass, perform free concerts there, as many of their colleagues do. You look, and without any trial, after some time they would have removed the status of foreign agents.
