An Englishwoman spent the whole night caring for a woolen pom-pom, thinking it was a hedgehog.

In the UK, a woman spent the night caring for a sick baby hedgehog she picked up on the street. Only in the morning did she find out that she had spent the night with a ball of fur from her hat, the publication reported DailyStar.

As it became known, an English woman found a baby hedgehog on the sidewalk and took it home to look after it. In the morning, she realized that the animal had only gotten worse, and she took him to the hospital. Already at the veterinary clinic, the woman was told that she had not saved a baby hedgehog. A local woman spent the entire night caring for a wool pompom that had fallen off someone’s hat.

The woman told doctors she spent the entire night trying to get the “baby hedgehog” to eat some food. The veterinarian took the box to examine the “animal.” But when the doctor opened the lid, she was surprised to see that it wasn’t a hedgehog lying there at all.

“I opened the box and couldn’t believe what I saw. I thought: “This is definitely not a hedgehog, perhaps it’s some other furry creature,” the doctor shared her impressions. She then put the item back in the box and told the woman it was a wool pompom. She was very ashamed, she took the box and left quite quickly, the veterinarian added.
