Most often, dogs are poisoned with medicine against tuberculosis.

“If you see an animal with characteristic symptoms, you have about 30 minutes,” says veterinarian Asya Stepanova.

The following actions will help you save:

1. INJECT VITAMIN B6 (Pyridoxine). It is better for every dog ​​breeder to have it at home during an exacerbation of dog hunters. The drug is sold in any human pharmacy. Inject intramuscularly.

For small dogs weighing up to 20 kg, inject about 4-5 ml. Dogs over 20 kg. – 6-7 ml. The larger the animal, the more medicine.

No need to worry about overdose. In this case, more is better.

2. Go to the veterinarian immediately after the injection. Research the addresses of 24-hour clinics near you. Call in advance if your dog has been poisoned so that the staff will be ready to receive you.
