Since the second defendant was not brought

On Friday, the Proletarian Court of Tula began a trial of persons indirectly involved in the murder of journalist and public figure Daria Dugina. We are talking about two men who helped to forge documents for a Mini Cooper car to the Ukrainian perpetrator Natalia Vovk.

As the MK reporter reported from the courtroom, one defendant, Andrei Kuznetsov from Tula, was not brought to the trial: he is being treated in Moscow in one of the hospitals, while simultaneously in custody. The participants of the meeting were introduced to the second defendant, Alexander Suchkov. The judge clarified his personal data – he comes from the Sverdlovsk region, has a secondary specialized medical education, is married, has no children, officially works in an individual entrepreneur as a production technologist.

The defendant stated that he objected to the video filming of the process. The lawyer expressed a similar position, due to the fact that “the presence of the press suggests that the crime is linked to the high-profile crime of the murder of Daria Dugina.” Thus, a negative attitude of society towards Suchkov is formed.

As a result, the court considered it possible to allow photo and video of the meeting before the stage of the judicial investigation.

Practically on it today’s session also has come to the end. Lawyers stated that without the second defendant, it is impossible to conduct a trial. The prosecutor’s office agreed with this. As a result, the trial was adjourned until April 3.
