The team of Oryol orienteers won 9 medals at the championship and championship of the Central Federal District

The orienteering team of the Oryol region showed excellent results in the championship and championship of the Central Federal District (CFD). Competitions were held from June 29 to July 2 in Tver. More than 500 orienteers from 17 regions of central Russia took part in them.
On the first day of the competition, the athletes competed in the forest cross-sprint, where they had to show endurance and speed of reaction. The guys coped with the task perfectly and showed high results.
On the second day of the competition, a cross-long was planned, which was a longer and more physically demanding distance. Despite the difficulties, athletes from the Oryol region were able to show their skills and performed superbly.
On the third day of the competition, the participants competed in relay races, where team spirit and interaction became the determining factor for success. The team of the Oryol region demonstrated excellent teamwork and performed well at this stage of the competition.
According to the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Oryol Region, in total our team won nine medals. Six of them were gold, one silver and two bronze medals. These excellent results were not only an achievement for individual athletes, but also allowed the team of the Oryol region to take pride of place on the podium.
