Residents of Vologda performed at the Russian championship in urban sports

Residents of the Vologda Oblast represented the region at the Russian City Championship. The competitions were held in Podolsk from June 22 to July 2. In total, 120 athletes came there, representing 19 subjects of the country.
Four participants were declared from the Vologda region. Despite the fact that the Vologda representatives were left without medals, they took a worthy place in the competition. In particular, in the team competitions in the “European towns” discipline, the Vologda residents rounded out the top five.
