The bill, according to which the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the FSB, the Federal Security Service and a number of other structures may receive the right to correct or close information in databases about their employees, was supported by the State Duma Committee on Information Policy.
The draft law notes that law enforcement officers will send a request to the operator to provide them with access to personal data information systems. This will be done to ensure that the data is clarified, extracted, anonymized, blocked or deleted.
The committee recommended that parliament adopt the document in the first reading.
