In Makhachkala, residents of a house on Kosmodemyanskaya Street are complaining about a cell phone tower installed near a residential building and a school, writes the telegram channel Caution news. The tower is accused of increasing the number of deaths from cancer.

A new cell tower was installed last year. It was opposed by local residents who believe that the structure is “harmful to health.” According to them, “more than 15 teachers died from cancer.” “Everything is starting to ache, hurt, it’s just impossible,” says one of the locals in the published footage.

The inhabitants of the house are so convinced of the dangers of the tower that they even “sued its owner.”

After an inspection, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Dagestan confirmed that the structure was installed “without observing the minimum fire safety distances.” However, the department did not find any data on the connection between this tower and oncology. Residents intend to appeal to other authorities – the city administration, Rospotrebnadzor and Sledkom.
