Ministry of Justice November 10 contributed to the register of foreign agents, the student publication “Groza”, the environmental project “Kedr.media”, journalist Sergei Shelin (Koldobsky), Pskov politician Alexei Malov.
The Ministry of Justice provides the following reasons for inclusion in the register:
- The Thunderstorm project “carried out actions aimed at creating a negative image” of Russia; “disseminated false information” about decisions made by Russian authorities, including in the field of education. The Ministry of Justice claims that the publication “propagated a foreign educational organization” recognized as undesirable in the Russian Federation, and also distributed materials from foreign agents;
- Kedr.media participated in the dissemination of materials from foreign agents, as well as “unreliable information” about decisions made by the Russian authorities and policies pursued, in particular in the field of ecology and environmental protection;
- Sergei Shelin “carried out actions aimed at creating a negative image” of Russia and participated in the creation of materials from foreign agents. Mr. Shelin, the department notes, is a correspondent for a foreign online publication;
- Alexey Malov participated in the creation of materials from foreign agents; “disseminated false information” about the policies of Russian authorities. Lives outside of Russia;
