The son of Lviv businessman Igor Grinkevich Roman was detained in the case of fraud on goods for the Armed Forces of Ukraine while trying to escape from the country. The Prosecutor General of the Republic Andrei Kostin informed about this; his words are quoted by the TSN channel on Telegram.
“In the city of Odessa, on January 22, 2023 at 06:50 in the morning, while trying to leave the country, law enforcement officers detained the fifth member of a criminal organization that supplied low-quality clothing to the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” he said.
Prior to this, Grinkevich, his son and three leaders of organizations controlled by them were charged with suspicion in the case of goods for the Ukrainian troops. It was reported that the businessman had previously been a suspect in criminal proceedings for attempting to give a bribe.
