The Moscow Department of Transport reported that from February 22, paid parking will appear on another 31 street sections, including at individual houses. As of January 22, 50 lots in the city are covered by residential parking permits.
New plots will appear in the districts of Krylatskoye, Golovinsky, Sokol, Khoroshevsky, Novogireevo and others. As the department’s press service wrote in Telegram channelpaid parking allows local residents to get priority when choosing a space near their home, as they become available faster.
From January 22, 50 sites entered to the resident permit zone: residents will be able to obtain a permit and park for free at their home. For drivers from other areas, parking has become paid.
In 2023, Moscow authorities introduced the first free parking at city clinics. Payment for them starts only from the 121st minute.
