The Moscow State Museum of Sergei Yesenin has launched an international photo contest “I / Yesenin”. If you consider yourself like a poet, this contest is for you.
The museum clarified that not only an external resemblance to Sergei Yesenin is desirable, but also a spiritual kinship with him.
It is quite easy to take part in the competition.
“You need to take a photo in the Yesenin atmosphere – for example, in nature, with animals, within the walls of the Yesenin Museum or in any other places of interest associated with the name of the poet, or even in the rhythm of a modern city, thus showing Yesenin as one of yours and ours. contemporaries,” the museum said in a statement.
Until September 18, color or black-and-white photographs (but not more than three) must be uploaded to your pages on VKontakte or Odnoklassniki with the hashtag #esenin2023 or sent by mail [email protected] You also need to be subscribed to the pages or groups of the museum during “In contact with” or Telegram and share a link to them on your profile.
By September 30, 20 best photos will be determined. At the same time, one of the winners will be the participant whose photo will gain the most likes in social networks.
The winning photographs will be published on the website and in the museum’s official social media groups.
The award will take place on October 3, the birthday of Sergei Yesenin.
