Amayak is sure that the Americans have always envied the Russians. In an interview with MK correspondents, Hakobyan named the main reason for envy.
“The Americans envy us, because in Russia there are great actors, great directors, great circus, stage, cinema artists,” Amayak is sure. – In Russia, theater schools are the best, and there – rabble, only punks. Mostly killers and gangsters came there, and Russia has always been great. We have great poets, great writers!
“In America, there are, of course, people who the whole world can be proud of,” Hakobyan says. “But there are few of them. USA is the land of Mickey Mouse. Americans are well aware that they invented the country. Which now constantly dominates the whole world. And while onlookers open their mouths, the Americans rob them, rummage through the pockets of all the people who at that time are looking at this unfortunate Mickey Mouse. I’m generalizing this, of course. But it is.
“I have traveled to more than 70 countries around the world,” says Amayak. “And everywhere I went, we were admired. My father (Harutyun Hakobyan – a famous artist, magician – author) in 1955 began to travel abroad. He was in 1957-1958 in France, in America and put everyone there on the shoulder blades. Because there were no artists of this level. There were clowns who thought too highly of themselves. Americans live in myths. They invent them and plant them all over the world. They are storytellers!
– We sang in due time: “We were born to make a fairy tale come true!”. And the main thing for them is to come up with this fairy tale, and then sell it for a lot of money. And they find buyers. Because they say: “If you refuse to buy, we will turn off the water, gas and electricity!”. They have a short conversation.
