Russians consider love and separate housing to be the most necessary for creating a family.
Over half of Russians called love the main condition for creating a family. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM).
Thus, 57% of respondents consider love between future spouses the main condition for creating a family. Another 35% of citizens named separate housing as such. In addition, 30% of survey participants included a decent level of financial well-being in the list of things necessary for creating a family.
In addition, the survey showed that 66% of respondents imagine an ideal family as mutual understanding, mutual respect and care for each other. 28% of respondents named a happy and friendly family as an ideal family. Another 20% noted that love is important in an ideal family.
It is specified that the survey was organized on July 2, 2023 among 1.6 thousand adult Russians.
