At checkpoints, using the Perimeter AIS, department specialists analyze epidemic risks and identify citizens with signs of infectious diseases, including those arriving from countries with unfavorable epidemiological conditions.
To detect Dengue fever in Russia, scientists from the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor have developed high-precision test systems that can be used to determine the presence or absence of the virus.
The agency recommends that when planning travel to countries with tropical and subtropical climates, take into account recommendations for the prevention of dengue fever.

Dengue fever is a viral disease common in the countries of Southeast Asia and the Pacific region, Central and South America, as well as in African countries. The disease is not transmitted from person to person.
