According to the results of a poll conducted by the Public Opinion Foundation, 55% of Russians, that is, more than half of the respondents, considered their income to be average. Approximately a quarter or 23% called their financial situation “good”. 19% of citizens consider it “bad”. Among the dissatisfied – a third in the age range of 46-60 years.
Only 2% of the respondents found it difficult to assess how they live in material terms.
Over the past 2-3 months, 11% of respondents reported an improvement in their well-being, and a little more – 19% – about the deterioration. Almost 70% of respondents did not notice any changes, either for better or for worse.
The Fund clarified that the social survey was conducted in mid-July this year, during which 1,500 adult respondents were interviewed in 104 cities and villages (53 regions of the Russian Federation).
