Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that the issue of building a new railway from the Rostov region to Crimea is still under development. According to him, part of this road “runs closer to the contact line.” Mr. Khusnullin noted that there are no decisions on this issue yet.
“Today, part of this road is at a safe distance from the contact line, part of the road runs closer to the contact line. This project has already begun,” he said.
In June, Deputy Head of the Government of the Zaporozhye Region for Economics Andrey Kozenko told TASS that the project for the construction of these railway tracks is being implemented by the Novorossiya Railways enterprise. Then he stated that pre-design surveys were being carried out for the project to build a road from the Rostov region to Crimea.
