Izvestia reports the preliminary cause of death of Nikita Khrushchev’s grandson Alexei Adzhubey, citing a source close to the situation.
According to the publication’s interlocutor, the grandson of the first secretary of the CPSU Central Committee, whose body was found in an apartment in Moscow the day before, could have died due to heart problems.
“Acute cardiovascular failure has been recorded,” the newspaper’s source said.
Probably Adzhubey fell in his own apartment, because a hematoma was found on his head. There were no signs of violence on the body, the publication clarifies.
It was also previously reported that 69-year-old Adzhubey suffered from systemic lupus erythematosus.
