The head of the administration of the Stary Oskol city district, Andrei Chesnokov, stated on his page in “In contact with”that more than 100 Belgorod residents were placed in local temporary accommodation centers.
The mayor said that he checked the living conditions of Belgorod residents who moved to the temporary temporary detention center. According to him, Belgorod residents are accommodated in comfortable and safe rooms. They were all given food packages, surveyed to find out about their individual characteristics, provided with three meals a day and given the opportunity to see doctors, he added.
“We are ready to provide comfortable accommodation for our fellow countrymen for as long as necessary,” emphasized Mr. Chesnokov.
On January 5, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that the regional authorities are ready to help residents of Belgorod temporarily move to other cities in the region due to shelling from Ukraine. He said that Belgorod residents can move to temporary temporary accommodation centers in Stary Oskol and Gubkin.
