Residents of Podolsk near Moscow, where a local emergency was previously declared, told how they survive without heating. It is difficult to maintain the temperature in apartments at 8-15 degrees, writes Telegram channel SHOT.
One of the local residents spoke about her pets; according to her, not all the inhabitants of the aquarium survived the cold.
“The fish died and froze. They took the turtles out, we hope they will survive. The water is absolutely freezing, you can’t even put your hands in,” she said.
Another resident showed the thermometer in the apartment, frozen at +8.5 degrees. People say that they sleep in hats, pants, sweaters, with their heads covered with several blankets. Heaters help a little, but there are power outages, and then there is absolutely nothing to warm up with. At the same time, the temperature outside drops to -15…-20.
Head of the municipality Grigory Artamonov previously reportedthat the specialists managed to stabilize the operation of the boiler room. Emergency crews eliminated the discovered breaches overnight. He promised that apartment buildings will soon be connected to heating.
