According to the publication, scammers opened their stores on the Wildberries site, completed the purchase of their own goods, but did not make payment. The marketplace recorded the fact of purchase and transferred the money to the “sellers,” after which the attackers cashed out the funds.
The report also shows that of the approximately 50 people involved in this criminal scheme, 14 have been prosecuted, while others remain under investigation.
Earlier, it was also reported about the theft of goods worth 5 million rubles from a warehouse in Koledin, committed by three Wildberries employees.
In addition, Wildberries denies information about an increase in the cost of the product return service.
