A young man went down to the basement of the house and came across a strange message.

On the Reddit portal, a user with the nickname remi_daDOOD shared his experience, saying that he went down to the basement of his house and found a mysterious message left on a pipe there. Commentators offered their own interpretations of what the unknown author of the message may have been trying to convey.

“Can anyone understand what we’re talking about here? I saw this on a pipe in my basement,” the guy wrote. He also included a photo with unclear text on the pipe. “I’m running out of… Are you people/violet? The best. Keep up the good work,” he tried to decipher the message. The young man also noted that, despite the fact that he has been living in this house for more than four years, this was the first time he noticed this inscription.

Some suggested that the message on the trumpet was left by a child. One user suggested that the author actually meant to say, “I’m ending here. You guys are the best people to me. Keep up the good work.”

However, one of the commentators insisted that in fact we are talking about a problem with the plumbing. In his opinion, the author of the inscription probably did not have enough purple dye for the pipes, and he decided to warn about it. “I’ve run out of purple coating. I think it’s the best. Keep it up,” the user deciphered the message. His comment became the most popular.
