The Azimuth Sukhoi Superjet 100 plane took off from Ufa to Omsk, but returned to the Bashkir airport for technical reasons. This was reported by the press service of Ufa airport RIA Novosti.

“The Azimut airline flight, which took off from Ufa to Omsk, was returned to the departure airfield by decision of the crew due to a technical reason,” airport representatives said.

How reported Kommersant, citing data from the Federal Air Transport Agency, flight safety statistics in Russia at the end of 2023 did not change much compared to the pre-sanction period. On average, there are about 800 aviation incidents per year, 60% of which are equipment failures.
