Neighboring regions sent humanitarian aid to the Orenburg region

More than 110 tons of humanitarian aid were brought to the flooded Orenburg region from neighboring regions. The regional government reported this.

“Neighboring regions are providing assistance – more than 110 tons of humanitarian cargo have been delivered,” the message says.

Neighbors sent essential items: warm clothes and blankets, towels and paper napkins, hygiene products, candles, disposable tableware, medicine and food.

On April 5, an embankment dam broke in the city of Orsk, Orenburg Region. The gushing water flooded the Old City, and local authorities were forced to evacuate people.
