The Serpukhov City Court sentenced the accused of murdering lawyer Eduard Musin. He was shot dead in 2016 in the village of Obolensk, Serpukhov district, by order of the head of the village administration.
As MK learned, Musin actively participated in trials brought by local residents against the administration. This became the reason for the murder. The customer attracted to fulfill your friend, director of the municipal improvement enterprise Georgy Sazonchik. As a reward, he promised 140 thousand rubles and the position of deputy. In August 2016, Sazonchik shot and killed a lawyer with an air rifle.
The crime was solved only in February 2023. It was possible to establish the location of the weapon. Sazonchik was detained along with his friend and initially claimed that it was his friend who committed the murder. But in the end he still confessed.
According to Olga Vradiy, senior assistant to the head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region, the perpetrator of the murder was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 12 years to be served in a maximum security colony.
